Keara and I went shopping together for our Halloween costumes. They will rule. Lets just say I'm green and furry!!!

This Is Not An Exit

Well this weekend the leaves in Northern Mass are at their Peak in coloring. Leaving Boston to venture to the countryside this long weekend was a good choice.

My best friends being home didn't hurt either! I'm currently watching The Hills. Which reminds me, Saturday Morning at the intersection of Mass Ave and Newbury I'm pretty positive I spied Miss Lauren Conrad (My Idol) herself scooting around in her Mercedes. So what did I do? I followed her as she sped down to the Pike and lost her at the Allston/Cambridge Tolls. Shux! LC is beautiful and if her TV personality resembles her real life personality I'm willing to Go on "Lauren Conrad's New BFF" I mean if that show ever exists that is. Just saying, I'd show up at try outs.

I'm glad I have better friends than Audrina and Heidi..

Last night AJ and I saw Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. I had been looking forward to it, despite only seeing the trailer once. I thought I remembered giggling a bit. Maybe I just like the word "infinite."



This movies okay. Reminded me of a long episode of Degrassi with a higher rating, and bigger budget... Kind of. The car was funny, the band members were forgettable, her friend Caroline was slightly over the top. I would have liked it better if she ended up getting scooped up by Fluffy and did them all. The scheming boyfriend of Norah was alright, it would of been better if he didn't make his intentions so clear. I feel like a movie fails unless you get the chance to know a character, or find yourself wondering about a character and the reasoning behind there actions. The characters in this movie were thrown at you for the most part, and I certainly didn't have any questions about any of them. I was also expecting a better soundtrack. How can you have a movie modeled around music and have a shitty soundtrack?

Besides all that I did laugh for most of the movie. I did think Norah was cute. Nick was precious, but of course everyone's known him since Superbad and Juno. He reminds me of Kenley from Project Runway this season. He keeps doing the same role, he does it better than most could, but I would love to seem him in a movie where he's not playing guitar or being a dork. MAKE A DIFFERENT DRESS!

Tonight I'm seeing Ben Nichols of Lucero @ The Middle East. Acoustic shows are usually such downers and make me sleepy. Hopefully this will be good though.

I ventured to NYC this weekend. I had a great navigator (right side, yellow shirt) :


I've been brainstorming a lot of new things I can do with this. I have a scanner now so featuring fun things drawn in the classrooms of Suffolk U will be much easier.
But of course a gain will seemingly be paired up with a loss, somehow my email on my blackberry curve doesn't feel like working. Maybe it's my Mom's fault, maybe it's T-Mobile's I know its certainly not mine. I'm just living, trying to get proper notification of when classes are canceled.

Here's a mouse I drew... that was originally a bug. I had to alter the antennas and face into ears because someone in class didn't approve.



This is how I felt today. I just wanted Hot Cocoa, but the journey was anything but easy.

Well last night Keara and I decided to go see A New Found Glory in Providence RI @ Lupos. We were aware it was sold out, but our hopes were high. Paid at the door and went right in.
We missed the first two bands. We had the pleasure of suffering through some band called "A Day to Remember." Apparently the rest of the crowd loved them, but as Keara said (which I back) "What a pile of Metalcore shit!"


After Underoath I mean AD2R played NFG hit the stage.


Blackberry Curve cameras are only capable of so much. When Keara asked me to go to the show I assumed that this tour would be packed with their songs from "International Superheroes of Hardcore." While "Tip of the Iceberg" is an okay song, I was not at all excited for them to sing "madballs got our back" or any of the other songs. However I'm usually down to do anything if it distracts me from doing my homework and this was no exception.

Needless to say I wasn't prepared for such a good set list.

Monday night Sassay Lindsay and I went to the Red Sox game. It was very last minute. At 7 PM I ran into Ace Tickets I asked how much their cheapest pair of tickets was and the man said 95. I knew we could do better. Walked passed a couple scalpers and ran into higg's tickets. Got a pair of grandstand tix ($50 face value) for $30! A+. Great guys, friendly service, and quick to get you to the game. 

I hate sitting behind a group of first time Fenway Attendees never mind people who don't even know what baseball is. I hate even more the know it all who sits next to them and educates them through every play of the game.  $how off.

Seriously sometimes I just wonder about you Kate Lavoie. But it's nice that after 3 long years we are able to speak again :) Kate used to take pride in kicking and tripping me at every soccer practice. She also succeeded occassionally at pouring water all over me, somehow this formed an incredible bond between us.
