Friday night I went to Providence with my friend Caitlin. We attended the Deer Tick block party which was held in the alley next to Lupo's. The show was definitely one of the better ones I've been to soundwise, vibewise, peoplewise, moodwise lifewise etcwise.
The people watching from the parking garage had the right idea. FrEe GiG.
Went to Martha's Vineyard the other day. Drove to the Cape on 3 hours sleep. Life in the fast lane... We got delayed by a 5 car accident that occurred right in front of the ferry parking lot. However we refused to quit and were determined to reach the island...and we did! *hours later.. Well worth it though, I had not been there since I was six. It's like an alternate universe. I'd live there for a summer for sure. I stole these pictures from Nina's Flickr. It rained, my hair raved.
Not sure when I'll ever look my age. The GAP overalls probably don't help.
Forever 21 raid tomorrow.
This heatwave has been quite a treat. I was under the impression that I was moving to Richmond August 1st so I felt it was pointless to install my AC. Well I decided that moving was a dumb decision. Without AC I've been melting for the past 3 days. I drove home tonight to pick up the AC and I'm looking forward to not waking up soaking wet in sweat tomorrow morning. EW.
Going to see Frank Turner August 4th at Brooklyn Bowl. TIckets are only five dollars. What a steal!
I wrote such a beautiful book for you
'Bout rainbows and sunshine and dreams that come true
But the goat went and ate it
(You knew that he would)
So I wrote you another one fast as I could
Of course, it could never be nearly as great
As that beautiful book that the silly goat ate
So if you don't like this new book I just wrote--
Blame the goat.
