Sunday I ran in my third annual Paddy's Pub Shillelagh Shuffle 5k.

Last year when I was training my time was 23:41.
This year I did a little bit worse.


1247 people participated. Some were walkers.

So last night I went to game 3 of the ALCS. Red Sox Vrs. Tamba Bay.



Lance got some free ticket, which was pretty awesome. I was lucky enough to get one of them.


The game was freezing and miserable for the first 7 innings or so. The only thing to entertain us was this man that would sprint from the bullpenn to the dugout everytime the pitchers changed. I kept yelling "PICK UP THE PACE NERDDDDD" and that was as exciting I thought the night was going to get.

I thought about leaving. Fortunately unlike most people, we stayed.



And Obviously those people were kicking themselves when Ortiz and JD Drew saved the day.
And then the game was won and I felt like I was 10 years old, I still can't stop smiling. I wish my dad was there to experience it with me, I owe all my sports knowledge to him. And recently Chuckey as well. HMM.





Another loyal Sox fan I know is Kei, So I thought I'd ask him a few questions.

This Is Not An Exit

Well this weekend the leaves in Northern Mass are at their Peak in coloring. Leaving Boston to venture to the countryside this long weekend was a good choice.

My best friends being home didn't hurt either! I'm currently watching The Hills. Which reminds me, Saturday Morning at the intersection of Mass Ave and Newbury I'm pretty positive I spied Miss Lauren Conrad (My Idol) herself scooting around in her Mercedes. So what did I do? I followed her as she sped down to the Pike and lost her at the Allston/Cambridge Tolls. Shux! LC is beautiful and if her TV personality resembles her real life personality I'm willing to Go on "Lauren Conrad's New BFF" I mean if that show ever exists that is. Just saying, I'd show up at try outs.



These girls however...

I'm glad I have better friends than Audrina and Heidi..


We went to Friendly's today. Our waiter was Al. I spilled my water. We played some dot-to-dot.

Last night AJ and I saw Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist. I had been looking forward to it, despite only seeing the trailer once. I thought I remembered giggling a bit. Maybe I just like the word "infinite."



This movies okay. Reminded me of a long episode of Degrassi with a higher rating, and bigger budget... Kind of. The car was funny, the band members were forgettable, her friend Caroline was slightly over the top. I would have liked it better if she ended up getting scooped up by Fluffy and did them all. The scheming boyfriend of Norah was alright, it would of been better if he didn't make his intentions so clear. I feel like a movie fails unless you get the chance to know a character, or find yourself wondering about a character and the reasoning behind there actions. The characters in this movie were thrown at you for the most part, and I certainly didn't have any questions about any of them. I was also expecting a better soundtrack. How can you have a movie modeled around music and have a shitty soundtrack?

Besides all that I did laugh for most of the movie. I did think Norah was cute. Nick was precious, but of course everyone's known him since Superbad and Juno. He reminds me of Kenley from Project Runway this season. He keeps doing the same role, he does it better than most could, but I would love to seem him in a movie where he's not playing guitar or being a dork. MAKE A DIFFERENT DRESS!

Tonight I'm seeing Ben Nichols of Lucero @ The Middle East. Acoustic shows are usually such downers and make me sleepy. Hopefully this will be good though.

I ventured to NYC this weekend. I had a great navigator (right side, yellow shirt) :


I've been brainstorming a lot of new things I can do with this. I have a scanner now so featuring fun things drawn in the classrooms of Suffolk U will be much easier.
But of course a gain will seemingly be paired up with a loss, somehow my email on my blackberry curve doesn't feel like working. Maybe it's my Mom's fault, maybe it's T-Mobile's I know its certainly not mine. I'm just living, trying to get proper notification of when classes are canceled.

Well this is the best I can do for now:

Emma's going to be this for Halloween. This is the exact costume plan, scaled of course.


Here's a mouse I drew... that was originally a bug. I had to alter the antennas and face into ears because someone in class didn't approve.



This is how I felt today. I just wanted Hot Cocoa, but the journey was anything but easy.
