I'm free to be whatever I choose

and I'll sing the blues if I want.

Rainy dayz. What a bad day to get a hair cut.

One day my hair will be long and maybe will look something like this:

Unfortunately now I am sporting a hairstyle of a middle schooler who has gone overboard with her flat iron. I don't even use a flat iron anymore, somehow my ends still find the need to jump ship and perish at rapid rates. This is all very important in my life. It's unfortunate. Perhaps one day I will be mentally stimulated through things beyond the world of retail and hair. I blame music, really I do.

My aunt gave this coat to my mom, my mom gave this coat to me.
Photobucket

But will this...:

happen to me if I sport that coat?
I'm concerned. Poor LL.

I'm going home tomorrow for Thanksgiving. I will be excited to see some long lost friends. I will be excited per usual to hang with my dawgs (Jack and Oliver). Lately I've been hanging with my friend Megan's dog, Beetlejuice

I hope we don't hear Marley's chains

...we forged in life.
'Cause the chains I been hearing now for most of my life.

I went home Tuesday

Photobucket

I love the Mass Pike, some of my better thinking has been done on this highway. It's a good meditation tool. Last night I saw Orion's belt
Photobucket
and the rest of him while driving home. Constellations are pretty neat. My mom always tried to tell me fun facts about stars and the planets and the stories behind them and we even got a telescope one year. Of course I was way too cool to care. Things like that make me want to go back in time and listen up,things like that make me pay attention more today. Which is a rather cliche thought, however its incredibly true. You would think that from all the movies where this lesson is learned by characters that kids would learn earlier, to the point where mankind would evolve, to listen up and realize what's truly important. This never happens though and it's because human life is not a circle its a straight line, years repeat, lives do not. No one can learn from their life because you never get a second one. Of course It's better to write the truth than to think of something questionably valid, right?

PS: I'm taking a class on existentialism so who really knows what I think.

Emma was secretly sporting some ill gear today
Photobucket

Yes that's a metallica shirt. Who knew?

I snagged the new T Swift album. Clearly its targeted at high school girls, there's a song about being 15 years old. With lyrics like "You could write a book on how to ruin someone else's day" it's safe to say the lyrics required little thoughts. Of course in the world of pop country I feel like you can get away with murder lyrically as long as you've got that catchy twang sound that reels in suckers like myself. Songs worth checking out on the album "Love Story" "You're Not Sorry" and "Forever and Always"

I'll stick to Patsy Cline

Which got me thinking about some music vids (well more so songs) i love

If you haven't listened to gaslight anthem yet, do so. This song off their new album '59 sound will be a good start.

This video rules, the kids in it are so good! RIP The Format. Good news is that Nate Ruess (The singer) has a new band. FUN

It's safe to say I'd give up just about anything for John Nolan to be back in Taking Back Sunday. I guess in general I'd give anything for John Nolan to crawl out of his coffin filled with depressing thoughts and acoustic guitars, Straylight Run got old reaallllllllll fast. In conclusion, I wish that John Nolan would pick up the pace, get enraged, and turn on his amp plz plz plz.

This vid needs no intro.

Here's Kevin Devine and Jesse Lacey playing KD's "Cotton Crush" Live. "Maybe we need to be hollowed to get up and grow and stop fucking around to kick off our braces and start straightening out." Which coincides with the book i just finished "The Unbearable Lightness of being" the sense of being hollowed or light implies a reflection into the duality of life in which one steps out, reflects, steps back in and grounds themselves through being weighted down. Of course it's much more complicated than that.I need to read that book at least 5 or 6 more times to really get the message, or lack there of. I guess to get the idea.

And always my favorite song ever ever ever that if you don't know I suggest you know.
This video was filmed in '91 while I hate participatory crowds at shows, this was one of the best live videos i could find.

This entry wouldn't be complete without a picture of Oliver and myself. He wanted to drive my car back to Boston. I wish I let him.

Every weeks the same, stuck in school so lame...

My parents say that I'm lazy, getting up at 8 AMs crazy.

Photobucket
Photobucket
lately things are kind of all over the place. I'm constantly on the run. This of course all changed yesterday when I sat down after class and realized I felt close to death. Then my delirious night began. But that's okay. Being sick is a nice wakeup call, I need to slow down. I need to realize that an invitation or suggestion to hangout does not always have to be obliged. I just hate to feel I'm missing out on anything.

I'll admit it, I didn't vote. I'm not ashamed. Had I registered in time I would have voted, but I'm not one to do something I know has to be done. So I did not. Let's just say I'm pretty happy with the way things are looking.

Tonight was good. Her MovezPhotobucket
and I met up at our favorite Starbucks in the City Photobucketlocated on Boylston across from Lord and Taylor. I frequent this one, why?
It's the biggest one, It's open till 10:30. The staff doesn't creep me out, *cough* government center *cough*, it really has a good neighborhood vibe to it. Everday I see the same people, the occassional tourists stop in, usually snagging a vacant chair from my table, I never really can hear how they ask for it, my headphones are usually buffering their request, I just nod. Then it gets awkward for them- which I've began to realize if they ask if anyone is sitting there. So now I nod and say "go ahead take it." Which is even more confusing. Oh well.

So Her Movez and I cozied up in the back, it was nice because a friend of mine was working which meant infinite hot chocolates in mugz. Photobucket

My sister worked on her Graphic design final. While my mind exploded as I read "The Unbearable Lightness of being" by Milan Kundera. To use a phrase from my good friend Aarron Bloomfield "I realize I am late to that party."
Photobucket
"A person who longs to leave the place where he lives is an unhappy person. That is why Tomas accepted Tereza's wish to emigrate as the culprit accepts his sentence, and one day he and Tereza and Karenin found themselves in the largest city in Switzerland."

"Ever since man has learned to give each part of the body a name, the body has given him less trouble. He has learned that the soul is nothing more than the gray matter of the brain in action. The old duality of body and soul has become shrouded in scientific terminology, and we can laugh at it as merely an obsolete prejudice.

But just make someone who has fallen in love listen to his stomach rumble, and the unity of body and soul, that lyrical illusion of the age of science, instantly fades away."

Let's talk about Country Pop Star Taylor Swift. I love her! Always have since I heard "Our Song" about a year ago. Her new album drops the 11th. I cant wait. The first single is really catchy. It has the same attraction as Rascal Flat's "What Hurts the Most" in a way that I can't express with words. So here's a video that features the first single "You're Not Sorry" This song also happens to be #1 on Itunes.

Bonus Halloween Pic: Thanks Gil for ruining another moment of my life.

Listen to Northstar's cover of Jawbreaker's "Chesterfield King"

Or just listen to anything by Northstar.

You were waiting on your step,
steam showing off your breath and
water in your eyes.
We pulled each other into one,
parkas clinging on the lawn and kissed right there.

"It is impossible to say just what I mean" T.S. Eliot

Well school has taken over my life along with some events and Halloween.

I went to Monster Jam Monday. I have nothing really to say about it.
Photobucket

Watched A+ horror movies at the hos. #1 "Last House on the Left" #2 "Midnight Meat Train" both great flicks.

Lindsay and I went on a roadtrip to Salem
Photobucket

We parked on the top of the world.
We returned to the city and planned on seeing Of Montreal, of course this turned into Getting expresso martinis at Ivy. Which resulted in buzzes, inspiring us to embrace the night and socialize rather than fall asleep in our chairs at The Orpheum. I don't really care for OM's new album anyway...

Her Movez really wants to find a winter hat...
Photobucket

The search continues... rofl.

Emma and Mike will always have the best Halloween costumes:
Photobucket

Keara Photobucket
and I Photobucket

went on a mission...Photobucket

we got lost in Hull. But now if I ever need to go back I know how to get just about anywhere.

I'm exhausted, but tunes you must listen to

Limbeck: Honk and Wave
Limbeck: Ohio On some Steps
Frank Turner: Long Live the Queen
Oasis- Live Forever

I went back inside and fell asleep in Ohio, California, or whatever.
