When you mean it I'll believe it

If you text me I'll delete it.

After tomorrow I'll be at work basically everyday at Long Wharf (picture below) until August 30th wahhh.

Tomorrow is Dashboard Tuesday. This day was founded seconds before I entered a car full of friends on the corner of Newbury and Gloucester St. We were all beach bound.

It's important to remember a certain group of musicians, no matter how silly, generic, overlooked, overplayed, they seem years after they dominated your discman. What I mean by "certain group" is the groups that you listened to back in the times of youth and unrealistic responsibilities. You throw on a song and it brings you back to drives home from high school, work, shows, parties, the song brings out memories due to association. I can say that Vanessa Carleton's song "White Houses" brings me back to Summer Oh Five driving from a BBQ at my friend Greg's to a show at Cabot St. I can say that Rilo Kiley's song, "Portions for Foxes" has me sitting on the hood of my car in a CVS parking lot in Easthampton Center (soon we would walk to Now Hear Fast art gallery, show, and bmx comp.). Not that this means anything to anyone but myself and the people with me at the time these songs strained out my speakers, but it's nice to have a memorable aid that serves beyond eyes scanning photographs.

Now Dashboard Confessional memories are infinite and it's nice to dedicate one day a week to reminisce of the first time I heard the "So Impossible" EP. I can say that "Age Six Racer" has been played at the end of every summer for the past 6 years of my life. And if you're familiar with the record then you understand.

These guys were precious and their posture was impressive. One day the little ones will fly high, you know this.

I went to Maine with my parents. Lots of hiking and whatnot. Mohegan Island was gorgeous as usual.

Movies of the Summer:

I've seen Batman, DARK NIGHT 3 times. I REFUSE TO SEE THIS MOVIE AGAIN UNTIL THE YEAR 2015. The first time I enjoyed. The next one painful. The final time I slept.

Pineapple Express: It doesn't take much to make me laugh. I think Dane Cook is funny. So you would think I'd enjoy this movie due to misleading trailers. I hated it. In fact I had to physically get out of my chair and walk out of the theatre for a good 5 minutes to relieve myself from anxieties.

Stepbrothers: I have seen this movie twice and have loved it both times. The trailer does not do this movie justice.

I have been lacking with photos and updates due to my computer being somewhere in Illinois hopefully being fixed or replaced by a new one. We shall see. So hold on tight, schools creeping around the corner. I'll be wasting time "being studious" in the library in no time!

So long, farewell!
