Seems like yesterday we were all meeting to plan out our Spring/Summer look book. Now it's happening! So excited to pull clothes from some of my favorite boutiques. It's cool to plan things out when you have no idea what you're doing...and by you I mean me. But really I'm enjoying this. Psyched to be part of a duo to control the complete composition on each and every outfit for the shoot.
Puerto Rico was incredible, San Juan was pretty stupid, Old San Juan was cool to explore for a day but next time we know not to stay in San Juan. But I mean we had to learn somehow. Thank god for a rental car. Stumbled onto some cliffs that ended up being a set for the new Treasure Island. Hopped on a ferry from Fajardo to Vieques, the best place ever. Met the coolest tour guide ever. Kayaked for 9 hours through a mangrove, through a bay, into the ocean, to a small island, jumped into a bio bay at night and watched everyone glow. Consumed a raw oyster straight out of the sea. Hung out with locals on the small strip of bars.
I don't know, thought vacation would be a good escape from the city to make me come back with a better attitude, but after it all, I'm thirsty for woods, water, mountains. Anything but concrete. So I'll tough it out, save some money, leave, and run to where it's sunny. Don't even try to ground me.
