Must Be a Musician...Probably in a Band
WELL the weather today was rather miserable. Nothing out of the ordinary for March in New England. After getting some lunch with my dad and walking with him through the financial district I made my way back home to The North End. Puddles were infesting the streets, Chris Connelly would have been in debate about which one to dive into. This abundance of H2O did not bother me until something that I have only seen in cartoons and other comedic films happened...to myself. I was speed walking home walkin' to the beat of "Jazz is Like the new coke" by The Erg's (FACT) which meant I had a brisk skip in my step until a car made a sharp turn into an urban tide pool. Oh sure fine, but the vehicle's tires sparked a minor tsunami that collided with my clothes and hair. Denial of this occurring set in for a second until some old man walking by me chuckled. It was then I realized I was sincerely clowned by some mysterious driver.
Yesterday I had a flashback to these dawgs:
William Wegman, what a guy, what a catch.
SOX tomorrow night @ Oakland. Matsuzaka vrs. Blanton on the mound, same match up as last Tuesday when the teams played each other in Tokyo. Hopefully Matsuzaka finds his rhythm earlier in this game, he cut it a little close last week. Despite the fact I really really really do not like Manny's attitude on the field and his lackadaisical style I do have high hopes for him getting it done this season. If Pedroia's half as good as he was last year and Ortiz stays consistent, things should be out of control (in a good way) offensively. We'll see, I could be wrong.
